Description
Mixed Media Sketchbook: A Process-Led Practice Instructor: Mahsa Farzi Dates: Sundays, November 15 – December 6, 2026 (4 weeks) Time: 1:00PM - 4:00PM Cost: $150 Venue: Maplewood House (399 Seymour River Pl, North Vancouver) Age: 15+ *All youth must be accompanied by an adult, and the adult must also purchase a ticket. About Creative work can sometimes feel stalled by perfectionism, the pressure to produce finished outcomes, or uncertainty around materials.
This course is designed as a process-led, supportive re-entry into making, focusing on intuition, experimentation, and reflection rather than finished pieces. Back by popular demand, we are bringing you this course inspired by Mahsa Farzi’s signature sketchbooks, bringing her methods directly into the classroom. Led by Emily Carr instructor and UBC MFA artist Mahsa Farzi, this four-week course draws on her experience teaching figurative drawing, painting, and foundation level studio courses.
